About Matthew:

Matthew has been Kent’s Police and Crime Commissioner since 2016 and was re-elected for a third term in May 2024. He lives in Swanley with his wife and three children.

Matthew serves a Chair of a company called BlueLight Commercial and leads for the APCC on workforce matters.

He takes a keen interest in mental health, having previously served on the National Crisis Care Concordat and the Independent Review of the Mental Health Act.

He is a keen musician, enthusiastic runner, an avid reader and a follower of both Tottenham Hotspur and England cricket.
